We are a partnership-first company driven by the belief that no one achieves great things alone. When building, we collaborate with co-founders; when investing, we seek strong leaders who embrace a team-first mindset. We are generous with equity where meaningful value is both created and shared.
Private markets focus.
We believe that true value lies in strong business fundamentals and internal cash flows, which naturally drive liquidity over time. Prioritizing smooth earnings to appease short-term investors is not our approach. Instead, we focus on the incentives and rewards that come with private companies dedicated to long-term outcomes. We are willing to trade liquidity for strong, long-term business fundamentals.
Alpha driven.
We operate in large, overlooked, and broken markets. We prefer to work with smaller, under-the-radar companies in sizable, underserved markets. We believe alpha is driven by four key pillars: local expertise, strong networks, top talent, and access to patient capital.

At DayOne, we invest in and partner with entrepreneurs serving the Philippine mass market. Operating through a holding company structure, we generate returns solely through alpha.
We prioritize value over time, holding investments based on performance rather than preset timelines. As we pursue opportunities, we combine deep value with a growth mindset. Our focus is long-term, risk-adjusted returns, rather than short-term liquidity. Investing in small companies in opaque markets allows us to capture inefficiencies rarely found in more developed economies.
